Ahead of match-week 12 in the Premier League, our man Kyle talks us through the predictions he has made in our Superbru Predictor League. Join now to try and beat him!

Arsenal vs. Tottenham: Kyle predicts a home win.

In what is probably the biggest game of the weekend, it is Arsenal vs. Tottenham in the North London derby that kicks off the action on Saturday lunchtime. So far it looks as if Spurs are the most likely team to be challenging Chelsea and co. at the top of the Premier League table, meaning Kyle’s prediction of an Arsenal win would perhaps be favourable for Blue fans.

Kyle says: “I think Arsenal will have a real go for this in front of their home support with a chance to take down not only a top four team but their biggest rival in Tottenham. Toby Alderweireld will be a huge miss for Spurs.”

Bournemouth vs. Huddersfield: Kyle predicts a home win.

Chelsea managed a narrow 1-0 away win at Bournemouth last month thanks to a Eden Hazard goal, but Kyle can’t see Huddersfield managing a similar result. The Cherries are in considerably greater need of a win as they currently lie in 17th place in the league, while Huddersfield have had a surprisingly strong start to find themselves in tenth spot having been promoted via the Championship play-offs last season.

Kyle says: “Bournemouth hit a higher gear last week in the second half away at Newcastle. I see Eddie Howe tapping into that and the cherries getting a two goal win.”

Burnley vs. Swansea: Kyle predicts a draw.

Another game featuring two sides that are expected to be involved in a battle at the bottom end of the league rather than the top, Burnley vs. Swansea looks slightly more one-sided than you may have expected at the start of the season given how well Sean Dyche’s side have performed so far this season. The Clarets pulled off a stunning 3-2 victory at Stamford Bridge on the opening day and haven’t looked back since. Despite that good form and Burnley’s current 7th place position, Kyle thinks Paul Clement’s Swansea can manage a point at Turf Moor.

Kyle says: “Burnley have started the season very well, but I’m seeing a Swansea side who are desperate for points. Both sides cancel each other out in this one.”

Crystal Palace vs. Everton: Kyle predicts a home win.

A battle between two struggling sides, Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace will get the better of Everton who are still yet to officially replace Ronald Koeman according to Kyle. David Unsworth remains in caretaker charge of the Toffees who have struggled this season, yet still sit a whopping seven points above Palace who have managed just 4 points from their 11 games. Let’s not think about who the one team the Eagles managed to beat were.

Kyle says: “Everton are on a slippery slope of dismay right now. Palace are desperate for points and will be the hungrier team of the two in front of their home crowd.”

Leicester vs. Man City: Kyle predicts a draw.

Unstoppable City come into this one unbeaten and with Pep Guardiola and Leroy Sane scooping the Manager and Player of the Month awards for October respectively. Kyle expects City’s unbeaten start to the season to continue here, but thinks the Foxes may surprise people and grab a point!

Kyle says: “The favorites for the title surely have to have a slip up at some point. I think it happens at the King Power stadium tomorrow as Leicester are strong at home and will be well up for this one.”

Liverpool vs. Southampton: Kyle predicts a home win.

The classic fixture that sees Southampton come up against the team that steal all of their good players. Virgil van Dijk will be the man to watch in this one, after his move to Anfield that seemed so likely fell through embarrassingly in the summer.

Kyle says: “Liverpool have faced weaker defences in the past three matches and slotted home at least 3 goals in each of their last 3 matches. Southampton have a better defence than those previous teams, but I see Liverpool continuing their momentum and putting two past the Saints at Anfield.”

WEST BROM vs. CHELSEA: Kyle predicts an away win (of course).

We won the league their last season. Anything other than this prediction would be inappropriately negative.

Kyle says: “Chelsea got a huge three points against United before the international break. Expect Antonio Conte to rally the troops now the Premier League is back and continue the team’s momentum. Chelsea know they have to keep pace to stay in the top 4.”

Manchester United vs. Newcastle: Kyle predicts a home win.

Jose Mourinho will have been delighted to announce that Paul Pogba, Marcos Rojo and even Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be returning from injury to make United’s squad tomorrow. The Red Devils suffered defeat at Stamford Bridge before the international break and Mourinho will be desperate for his team to bounce back immediately against his old foe Rafa Benitez.

Kyle says: “United have Pogba and Ibrahimovic back for this and the lift that will give the entire squad should be enough for them to find their winning ways again. Jose will have his men ready for this one.”

Watford vs. West Ham: Kyle predicts a draw.

This game should be an interesting one as Marco Silva’s Watford take on West Ham in what will be David Moyes’ first game in charge. The Hammers have made an appointment that has puzzled the vast majority of the football world, meaning the Scot has it all to do if he is to win over the supporters and get results.

Kyle says: “I see this one being goalless. Watford started the season well but are starting to fall back down to earth now and new man Moyes will likely want to start by solidifying West Ham’s defence and getting a clean sheet.”

Brighton vs. Stoke: Kyle predicts a home win.

Brighton’s fantastic recent form has lifted them up the Premier League ladder to eighth spot meaning they are deservedly seen as favourites for this one. Kyle expects the Seagulls to manage those expectations and deliver.

Kyle says: “Brighton will have the AMEX stadium rocking again after their recent form. Stoke are so unpredictable and I see Brighton using the energy from the home support and squeezing out a tight 1-0 win.”
